A luteal phase is described as a time from ovulation to the beginning of your first period. This phase, in most women, is between 12 and 14 days. If you count down 14 days from your prior menstrual period this can greatly assist you in finding out when you ovulate. If your personal cycle generally lasts for a period of 28 days then approximate ovulation would be day 15.
Accurate Signs To Know When Are You Most Fertile
The method described above is fairly accurate but not reliable enough to be deemed certain 100% of the time. In many cases your body is the most important tool in telling you when exactly ovulation is occurring. Some of these signs include bloating or increased sex drive. Cramping or pinching pains and increased tenderness of the breasts are just a few others.
